# Submit Your Candidacy

## Overview

Here’s how you can apply:

1. Navigate to the **Intersect Elections** section and click on **"Apply to be a candidate"**

2. You will be redirected to **Voting** section

Here users can find 3 tabs:

* **open** votes they can vote on if they are members
* votes which are **not started** yet
* votes which are **closed** already

Under the "**Not Started**" tab,

* If it’s a **committee election**:
  * Select the committee you want to apply or vote for.
  * Click **View Details and Apply**.
* If it’s the **Board election**:
  * Select the **Intersect Board Election** card.
  * Click **View Details and Apply**.

3. Click on **"Apply as a Candidate"** to begin your application.

The application form will open automatically. Fill out all the required fields, review your answers, accept the **Terms & Conditions** and **Privacy Policy**, then click **"Submit"**
